If you think that Korean skincare products can’t get any better, you have it wrong! The Face Shop Korea just came out with their latest skincare lines called Yehwadam and Dr. Belmeur.
I. YEHWADAM LINE
When we talk of skincare made from traditional herbs, we may think that it's only for more mature women. The Face Shop's Yehwadam line breaks that misconception!
With the idea of using Korean natural ingredients to balance vital energy and blood circulation, this line consists of a thick but non-sticky formula that has anti-wrinkle functions and intensely moisturizing benefits – perfect for women in their 20s-30s.
Toner
Lightweight formula instantly refreshes and moisturizes the skin after cleansing
Emulsion
Apply to further revitalize the skin
Serum (the star product of the line!)
Formulated with extracts of seeds, roots, flowers, and fruits from Korean herbs to give you that healthy glow
Sticky at first but smooth when applied on skin
Eye Cream
Highly dense, balm-like cream to moisturize the eyes
Can be applied to other areas that get dry such as the sides of the nose, or around the lips
Cream
Apply this revitalizing cream to seal all of the products in! 😉
II. DR. BELMEUR LINE
From the French word “bel” which means lovely/happy, Dr. Belmeur is actually not a name of a dermatologist, but it is the Face Shop’s very own cosmoceutical* line to solve the daily concerns of people with sensitive and/or oily skin types!
As city people, we are all familiar with clogged pores due to the fine dust surrounding us (boo pollution!). Dr. Belmeur is here to save us – without irritating our skin!
*cosmoceutical: skin solutions that combine cosmetics with dermatological plant-based ingredients
All these products are fragrance-free, formulated with no additives, and dermatologically-tested so they are all gentle enough for everyday use.
The star product of the line though is the Dr. Belmeur Ato Salt Cream. It contains 8% dead sea salt to provide deep moisturization and itch-relief for dry skin.
I tried this myself and I’m glad that I have found a new product that can help with my skin asthma! I applied this before going out to a -8 degree weather in Seoul. My skin stayed moisturized all throughout the cold day.
Yay for Korean skincare products! Hope you give them a try. It won’t disappoint. 😉
Stay warm!
xxx,

Helllo 🙂 Can the Ato Salt Cream be used before sleeping?

Hi Farah!
Yes you can! But I still prefer to use a different night moisturizer that has a thicker consistency. Just personal preference. 🙂

Hiii. I just wanna ask, when do you apply the ato salt cream? After the moisturizer or no? Thank you so much. 🙂

Hi!
I apply it just like a moisturizer. So after cleanser and toner, I apply the salt cream:)

Hi!
Yes there will still be benefits for the skin because of the ingredients but the line was created for younger women in mind. 🙂
